The crime occurred in a bar in Quinta das Lagoas, in Corroios, and involved the use of a hammer. Both involved have a criminal record related to drug trafficking.
In a statement, the PJ indicates that the detention of the 27 -year -old man was made in collaboration with the Public Security Police, and the suspect was “strongly indicted” for the crime of qualified homicide that victimized a 40 -year -old man in the municipality of Seixal.
The PJ adds that it was alerted by PSP, around 03:00, for an episode of aggressions in a bar in Quinta das Lagoas, in Corroios, which resulted in a deadly victim.
According to this police, the steps made so far allowed to determine that the aggressions, made with a hammer, resulted from conflicts related to drug trafficking.
The PJ needs the suspect and the victim to have police background for this type of crime, with the man who died a few months ago from prison, after serving an effective sentence for crimes of theft and detention of a banned weapon.
The Judicial Police also states that the detainee is at the Judicial Police facilities to be carried out all the steps for the thorough clarification of the facts in investigation.
