Following the title at Monte Carlo’s Masters 1000, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz recovered his second position in the ranking of ATP (Association of Professional Tennis players), surpassing the German Alexander Zverev, who fell to third place.
Alcaraz reached 7,720 points in the world classification, but remains far from the leader, Italian Jannik Sinner (9,930 points), which meets a three -month suspension for a positive doping exam.
Two Brazilians remain in the top 100: João Fonseca is the number 59 of the world and Thiago Monteiro appears in 93rd position.
