Former Brazilian president had to be operated on a partial obstruction of the intestine
Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro (2019-2022) is in a stable state at the Intensive Care Unit, after undergoing a 12-hour surgery, the Brasilia Hospital said on Sunday, where he is hospitalized.
The former 70-year-old president had to be operated on a partial intestine obstruction, associated with the sequelae of a knife attack in 2018, and has been hospitalized since Friday after having felt severe abdominal pain during political tour.
“Operation successfully completed!” Wrote Jair Bolsonaro’s wife Michelle on the social network Instagram at the end of the surgery.
