Gorn grandmothers are delicious, but they tend to dry quickly. There is no question of preparing them a few days before Easter. That is why we bake these cakes at the last minute, in the sheer volume of duties.

The same cannot be said about the cheesecake grandmother. One of its ingredients is cottage cheesethanks to which it comes out moist and does not dry out. It becomes elastic and does not crumble, even a few days after baking. Its structure is simply perfect.

It is also worth adding butter to the dough not only responsible for baking humidity, but also for a wonderful, golden color. The whole will be perfectly complemented by the vanilla aroma.

Cake ingredients:

  • 250 g of semi -fat curd;
  • 200 g of soft butter;
  • 200 g of fine sugar;
  • 4 eggs with room temperature;
  • 2 cups of cake flour;
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder;
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla aroma.

Ingredients for icing:

  • 1 protein egg;
  • 200 g of sifted powdered sugar;
  • A few drops of lemon juice.

Preparation:

To make a cheesecake grandmother, at the beginning we crush the curd with a fork so that it has a smooth consistency. In a large bowl, we begin to grind the butter with sugar – the mass must become bright, fluffy.

In the next step, we gradually add eggs, one by one, mixing all the time. Then we also add crushed cottage cheese and add vanilla aroma.

Then, to a separate bowl, sift wheat flour with baking powder and in batches, add it to wet ingredients, preferably with a spatula.

Pour the prepared dough into a mold with a diameter of about 23 cm, previously smeared with butter and sprinkled with flour.

We bake cheesecake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for about 50 minutes, to a dry stick.

After baking the dough, remove them from the oven and wait 10 minutes. After this time, we take out baking from the mold and place it on a grid.

After cooling the cheesecake grandmother, pour icing. To make a coating, just beat the protein with powdered sugar and lemon juice until the mass is uniform. It usually takes about 2 minutes.
