Iguatemi sells stakes in malls for R $ 500 million

O Iguatemi announced on Monday (14) signing of memorandum of understanding for the sale of about R $ 500 million in participation in a series of malls and enterprises, according to a relevant fact to the market.

The company said it will sell 49% participation in Shopping Market Place, Market Place Towers and Galleria Shopping building.

The agreement also involves a promise of assignment of 24% fraction in the future residential venture to be built in the Market Place complex, and 16.7% of the participation in the commercial project to be built in the Galleria complex, both expecting to completion in 2029.

The group, which did not claim to signed the agreement, said that with the completion of the operation, Iguatemi will maintain 51% participation and the administration of malls and enterprises.
