The Freedom Party advances, by Argentine President Javier Milei, was third in the Santa Fe regional elections, held on Sunday (13), with 14.11% of the votes. The result represents a significant drop in relation to Milei’s performance in the province in the second presidential round of 2023, when he obtained 62.8%.
The vote marked the first electoral test of the year and occurred in one of the main districts of the country, behind only Buenos Aires and Cordoba in electoral weight. The coalition led by the current Maximilian Governor Pullarro – formed by radical civic union, republican proposal (Pro) and socialists – won with 34.6% of the votes.
