More than 300 detainees in the first three days of PSP Operation Easter

The causes of the arrests include road crimes (driving in a state of drunkenness and driving without a letter) and crimes against property, namely theft, thefts and circumvents.

PSP detained 307 people in the first three days of Operation Easter in Security, 179 of which for road crimes, namely 104 by driving in drunken state and 75 by driving without letter.

In the first three days which began on Friday and extends until the 21st, there were also 18 suspects for crimes against property, namely theft, thefts and scans, as well as 17 for drug trafficking, and more than 36,000 individual doses were seized.

In the same period 126 occurrences of and eight suspects for the commission of this crime.

In the context of road inspection actions, PSP reports that 3,941 drivers were inspected and controlled by radar 13,008 vehicles that gave rise to 1,231 records of offense.

In total 283 speeds for speeding were registered, 109 due to lack of compulsory periodic inspection, 49 for lack of liability insurance, 46 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 26 due to the use of the mobile phone during the exercise of driving and seven due to the use of the seat belt.

The PSP also seized 18 guns, six firearms, eight white weapons and four weapons of other typologies.

Regarding the road accident, in the same time period 375 accidents were registered, from which 125 injured were resulted: four bass, 121 light and no death.

In the statement, the PSP appeals again to be safe and do not adopt behaviors that may decrease their driving capabilities.
