The leader of the House, Gostenes Cavalcante (RJ), filed on the afternoon of Monday (14) in the system of the house the urgent request of the project that provides amnesty to those convicted of the scammers of January 8.
The decision to bring to the plenary, however, is up to the mayor, (-PB). The urgency causes a story to be processed faster in the House, as the project follows straight for analysis of parliamentarians in plenary, without being discussed in the thematic committees of the house.
To file the application, 257 signatures were required. According to information from the House system, the document has 262 signatures of deputies of opposition parties and acronyms that make up the Lula Government (PT).
In a publication on social networks, Sostenes stated that he filed the application in a strategy to prevent the government from operating by withdrawing the signatures.
“I have just filed the Amnesty PL urgent request with 264 signatures. Faced with the government’s cowardly pressure to remove support, I anticipated the strategy. Now it is registered and public: no one will be caught by surprise. Amnesty now!” He wrote.
