Sock Luka Modric will become one of the shareholders of the Swansea CityChampionship Club, Second Division of England. The information was released by journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Swansea City undergoes internal reformulation, including changes in management. The club owners, Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan, sold the largest percentage of the shares for a new group.
According to Romano, the fact will not disturb Modric’s career, which will continue to act by Real Madrid.

Modric Agreement with Swansea City
According to Roman, the agreement between the Croatian and the Welsh club has already been closing, making the athlete one of the owners.
The decision approaches a next step in their professional career as Modric is 39 years old. Despite this, the midfielder has already shown interest in continuing to play for Real Madrid after season 2024/25.
Contact with British football is not new to Modric, who acted for Tottenham between 2008 and 2012. In the English team, he participated in 160 games and scored 17 goals.
Modric contract with Real Madrid
Real Madrid and Luka Modric agreed in July 2024 an extension of contract that ends on the day June 30, 2025.
