Homemade ingredients for dyeing eggs

If you want to start dyeing eggs naturally, green color is one of the most difficult to achieve. Most often people try spinach, nettle or parsley leaves. But the resulting shade is rather soft and sometimes too pale. Yet with a little patience and experimentation, beautiful natural green tones can be obtained. The basis is to first degrease the egg carefully. All you need is warm water with a little soda or a gentle detergent. Then it is enough to prepare the leach of fresh green herbs, which you cook in water with vinegar and salt. Cook the eggs in the brine for about 10 minutes and then allow them to cool in the water. You can leave them in the brine even overnight if you want to achieve a more intense shade.

But if you long for a really rich and unusual green, you can try combined dyeing. One method is to use red cabbage, which otherwise color eggs into blue. Once the eggs are colored and allowed to dry, you can immerse them for a few seconds in a solution with baking soda. It is this chemical reaction that pulls out of blue beautiful turquoise green shades. This method is unpretentious and brings very interesting results that look beautiful in a bowl with Easter Easter Easter eggs.

More steps are needed to achieve a classic green, without a turquoise inhale. But believe that the result is worth it. First, paint the eggs with a turmeric, giving them a distinctive yellow color. After drying, immerse them in the leach of red cabbage, this time cold. The color may initially look unpleasant, but don’t be discouraged. The final step is the bath in the water with melted baking soda, which turns the resulting color into beautiful green.
