United States President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he expected to make a decision about Iran very quickly, after both countries claimed to have had “positive” and “constructive” conversations in Oman on Saturday (12) and agreed to resume negotiations this week.
Trump, who threatened a military action if an agreement is not reached to stop the Iranian nuclear program, reported to reporters aboard Air Force One that he met with Iran’s advisers and expected a quick decision. He gave no more details.
“We will make a decision about Iran very quickly,” he said.
The first were the first between Iran and a Trump administration, including the first term of the US President, from 2017 to 2021. Authorities said they occurred in a “productive, calm and positive atmosphere.”
On Saturday, Trump told reporters that, “adding,“ Nothing matters until it’s completed, so I don’t like to talk about it, but it’s going well. The situation with Iran is doing very well, I think. ”
