With so much rush in everyday life, it is common to resort to industrialized as a quick solution to starve hunger. After all, who never saved lunch with a noodle, right? But what looks practical can actually be sabotaging your health without you realize.

The good news is that you can eat better – even with the tight schedule. The bad? There is something in your dismissal that deserves to be discarded as soon as possible. The following are five ultra -processed villains that recommend to avoid or at least reduce dramatically.

5 industrialized foods that you should urgently get from the shopping list:

1. Soft drinks

They even look innocent, but soft drinks are a real liquid pump.

Loaded with sugar, dyes and artificial sweeteners, are linked to the increase of cases of obesity, diabetes and even dental wear. Phosphoric acid present in the drink alters the pH of the body and weakens the nail polish of the teeth.

Swap from: Gas water with natural fruits or sugar -free ice. Refreshing, beautiful and much healthier!

2. Sausages and sausages

Sausages, hams, sausages… These embeddeds are practical, but hide a dangerous combo of nitrite, nitrates and too salt.

Frequent consumption increases the risk of bowel cancer, hypertension and heart disease. And believe me, two ham slices a day are already enough to put you in statistics.

Prefer: Fresh lean meats, eggs or vegetable proteins such as chickpeas and lentils.

3.

The champion of practicality is also one of the champions of chemical additives (there are 14 in a portion only!).

Apart from excess sodium, which alone exceeds the recommended daily limit for adults. In addition, some seasoning ingredients are prohibited in other countries.

Alternatives: Common pasta with homemade sauce (may even freeze portions), or wholemeal pasta with vegetables.

4. Stuffed cookies and gelatins

It sounds like a child snack, but these products are experts to mask sugars, dyes and trans fats.

Result? Weight gain, high cholesterol and risk of insulin resistance. Worse, they are designed to addict the taste early.

Smart Tip: Fresh fruits, chestnuts or even a 70% cocoa chocolate in pieces kill the desire for candy without guilt.

5. Ready seasonings and package soups

A spoonful of industrialized broth may contain up to 50% of the recommended sodium per day.

These products use monosodium glutamate and preservatives that can cause migraines, swelling and high blood pressure.

Season with: garlic, onion, fresh or powder herbs (homemade!). The taste improves – and your health too.

Finally, you can’t live only on natural foods all the time, we know. But yes, to make better choices.

Avoid products with huge ingredient lists (the famous “altate soup”) and, if you can, use apps as you decer to better understand what you are putting on the cart.

Health starts at the fair – or at least outside the shelf of the ultra -processed.
