The former president of (PP-AL) disconcerted when asked if he would be vice in a possible plate of (PL) in 2026 and stated that the position “on any plate” would be honorable.
Speaking to Alagoas communicator Ildo Rafael, the deputy was asked if he would be Bolsonaro’s deputy or senator in the next elections.
“Look, there are two positions that would honor any Brazilian. Being vice president of the Republic on any plate and holding a place in the state’s house, there are two very honorable positions,” he said.
Lira also stated that the moment is still work, conversation and definitions. “The important thing is that all the political forces that have prestige in Brasilia unite for the state to develop, without many gossip, without much speculation,” he said. “And 2026 we will discuss with great tranquility with our political group.”
