Start with washing vegetables, then cut the potatoes and carrots into cubes and chop the cabbage finely. Pour milk and water into the pot. Reduce heat, add a teaspoon of salt, add the cabbage and cook until it softens a bit, about half an hour. Then add potatoes and carrots, cook until the vegetables are soft, it takes about 15-20 minutes. At the end of cooking the soup, add butter, season with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add garlic squeezed through the press. If the soup is too rare, you can thicken it with flour mixed in a small amount of water. Cook for a while. Finally, add chopped dill. Serve the ready soup with a slice of bread.
