Three individuals robbed yesterday afternoon a goldsmiths located in the center of Esposende after an attempted theft at the same establishment at dawn.

The robbery took place at the Chavães-Jewelry and Watches store, where the robbers, one of them wielding a large knife, entered suddenly and seized several pieces and value articles.

After the theft, the group fled the scene and, according to the authorities, will later have appealed to the carjacking method to steal a car used in the escape.

GNR is investigating the case and collecting indications that may lead to the identification and detention of the authors.
