The trick is on IBAN
According to the Tax Authority (AT), if you do not have an IBAN confirmed with the finances, you should indicate it at the time of delivery of the IRS statement.
“If you don’t have an IBAN confirmed at AT, to receive your IRS refund more quickly, indicate your IBAN on the face of the statement,” reads an AT publication on Facebook social network.
In addition, it is recommended that the taxpayer tick the option to automatically update this information in the registration data.
This ensures that the process takes place without unnecessary delays and avoids errors in return.
Confirm if you have associated iban
If you are not sure that your IBAN is correct or registered with AT, you can check and update this information through the Finance Portal:

However, the legal deadline for payment of the refund extends until August 31.
