Bocalom announces contract signature for construction of 348 popular houses; See locations

During an interview at Conteilnet’s podcast, last Tuesday (15), the mayor of Rio Branco, Tião Bocalom, revealed that he should sign on Thursday (17), the construction of 348 housing units.

According to him, the contract with Caixa Econômica Federal will be signed authorizing the beginning of the works of popular housing in the Acrean capital.

“There will be 333 houses and 16 apartments, all there in partnership with Caixa Econômica. It is the project My Dignity. I want to thank Deputy Eduardo Velloso, who gave the resource of counterpart, which is $ 20,000, each house, apart from the land that the city gave, and all the external infrastructure that the city gives,” he said.

The appeal applied by the federal deputy is approximately R $ 3 million, which will fund the counterpart of 150 houses.

Also according to Tião Bocalom, the popular units will be built in the neighborhoods Rosa Linda, Santo Afonso and Rui Lino, where the apartments will be built.

The signing of the contract takes place this Thursday (17), in the mayor’s office, and will be attended by the Caixa Econômica Regional Superintendent in Acre.

The head of the municipal executive also made a point of highlighting other programs that the city should execute soon.

“There has never been a City Hall Housing Program as big as ours. We have this, there is also my dignity, which is financing for city officials, that Caixa is just closing the analysis, there are 440 apartments. Half will be for City Hall to finance, and half for the population to finance. As the city is giving the land and assembling the infrastructure, the benefits will be much cheaper than in the market,” he emphasized.
