The Ministry of Agriculture recommends limiting the number of persons in breeds, using protective equipment and introducing disinfectant zones.
The Czech ministries of agriculture and education together with the State Veterinary Administration (SVS) recommended agricultural and veterinary schools to tighten hygiene rules in practical breeding teaching. This is one of the other measures against the Czech breeds to get the infection of Slints and Kriva (Slak) from Slovakia or Hungary. This was stated on Wednesday by the Czech Ministry of Agriculture, informs TASR newsletter in Prague.
“We understand the importance of practical teaching for pupils of agricultural schools. At the same time, it is necessary to minimize the introduction of infection into Czech breeds.
At present, pupils’ entry is not prohibited, but according to the ministry, increased security measures should be applied. Currently, people who have been in the previous 21 days in the so -called restriction zone around the fireplaces of the clinseer and the croys in which strict veterinary measures are not entry. In addition, breeders are obliged to keep records of the entry of foreign persons into breeding.
In addition to these measures, the ministries, together with SVS, recommend to minimize the number of persons input, consistently use protective equipment and passage zone at the entrance and output or separate animals intended for teaching from others. They also recommend a ban on wearing food for breeding and carrying objects out. According to them, the aim is to prevent the introduction of the infection while allowing practical teaching to continue.
