  • 280 g of wheat flour,

  • 1 kg of cheesecake cottage cheese from a bucket,
  • 300 g of ready poppy seed mass,
  • 150 g of white sugar,
  • 4 eggs,
  • 50 ml of cream 30 percent,
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla pudding.

Frosting:

  • 150 g of powdered sugar,
  • 4 tablespoons of lemon juice.

If you prefer more white icing, you can focus on traditional royal icing. You will make it with egg whites, sugar and a bit of lemon juice.

Knead a uniform dough vigorously from the ingredients given to the bottom of the poppy seed cheesecake. If it is too loose, add a little water. Divide into two parts, smaller and larger. Wrap both with foil and put in the fridge for about an hour.

Make a filling during this time. Mix the finished poppy seed mass with cream in such a way that it becomes quite liquid. Transfer cheesecake cottage cheese into a large bowl. Mix it with poppy seed and cream. If it is impossible to do this uniformly with a spatula, use a mixer at low speed. Add sugar and mix again. Add one egg gradually, mixing at low speed. Finally, mix vanilla pudding.

Pull the dough out of the fridge. The larger part of the bottom of the 24 × 24 cm mold lined with baking paper. Pour the cheesecake with poppy seeds. Align the top. Grate the rest of the dough on a grater.

Heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Bake for 15 minutes. After this time, reduce the temperature to 170. Leave for another 55-60 minutes. Cool the poppy seed cheesecake with the door ajar.

After cooling completely, make icing. Sift powdered sugar into a bowl. Pour lemon juice and mix vigorously with a fork or spoon. A smooth, uniform icing should be created. Pour the top of the poppy cheesecake.
