The route to the bathing zone is made by wooden walkways, ensuring accessibility to people with reduced mobility.
The beach is equipped with help stations, bathrooms, showers and shade zones.
There is also a terrace restaurant where you can make a meal or have a coffee overlooking the water.
With surveillance during the bathing season, the space is recognized for its environmental and safety quality, having obtained the blue flag shortly after its inauguration in 2022.

Aquatic activities and municipal support
Among the available activities are boat tours, paddle boards and slippery seagulls, and it is possible to rent equipment on site.
The space also has a park of lunch, parking lots and rest zones in the grass, in the shadow of trees and stuck.
During August, it provides a free transportation service on Saturdays, with two different routes to facilitate access to the beach by the local population.
A little known refuge
Despite the quality of infrastructures and landscape surroundings, the Azenhas d’Ar Rei Fluvial Beach remains little known outside the regional context.
