Vinicius Gritzbach was shot dead on November 8, 2024, shortly after leaving Guarulhos International Airport. Before his death, he had signed an award -winning plea agreement with the São Paulo prosecutor. In this agreement, Gritzbach revealed the participation of military and civilian police in illegal activities and provided information on money laundering and financial movements of CCP members.
