A massive low pressure area has caused storms and heavy rains in northern Italy, and has already triggered flooding and slope slide locally. The Aosta Valley, where a large part of the rain was concentrated on Wednesday evening, and the north of the Piedmont region are particularly affected. There are also other violent rainfalls on the entire Maundy Thursday, as can be seen from Italian weather forecasts. Local rain is also expected to be heavy rain triggered by thunderstorms.
