Journalist rents Tesla to measure popularity of Elon Musk… and takes with 17 fingers in the middle

Saahil Desai, reporter for the renowned magazine The Atlantic, decided to rent a Cybertruck and venture into the United States roads, with a curious goal: to find out if Tesla’s controversial CEO is really one of the country’s most “hated” figures.

The result? Throughout the trip, 17 fingers were shown, accompanied by various insults. Among the most striking reactions, one woman accused him of not being ashamed in the face and another did not hesitate to shout that he drove a “Nazi truck.”

However, not everything were hostile gestures and less friendly words. Saahil says that some young people showed genuine interest in the vehicle, even making positive comments about Cybertruck’s futuristic design. There were even those who asked to take pictures of the car.
