The São Paulo Court denied the Paraná Institute’s request for compensation research in the amount of R $ 100,000 by coach Pablo Marçal, for moral damages.
Judge Raquel Machado Carleial de Andrade’s decision was published on Monday (14). There is still appeal.
In the action, the institute says that in August 2024, during the then, the then candidate for published a video on his social networks claiming that he would show “the true face of the system.”
In the video, Marçal suggested that the other candidates – (), (), (), () and José Luiz () – they would be in line with the institute, thus combining the result of the next round of electoral research.
In his defense, Marçal stated that the publications were covered by freedom of expression and that the satirical tone in the campaign is common.
