Lula government has 65.4% disapproval in Rondônia

According to a survey by Paraná research, 30.7% said they approved the management of the petista and 3.9% did not respond

Survey released on Thursday (17.abr.br.2025) by Paraná research shows that the disapproval of the government of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) reaches 65.4% in Rondônia (RO). Another 30.7% said they approved the petista’s management, while 3.9% did not respond. This is a (PDF – 574 kb).

The study was conducted from April 9 to 13, with 1,640 interviewees in 35 municipalities of the state. The margin of error is 2.5 percentage points and the confidence level is 95%.

The negative perception of the government is also expressive: 57.7% of respondents have classified management as “bad” or “bad”. Already 21.6% evaluated the government as “great” or “good”, and the others considered the management “regular” or did not opine

Voting intentions for 2026 elections

The survey shows a favorable scenario for Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in the 2026 presidential dispute. In the stimulated scenario, the former president adds 55.5% of voting intentions. Then, President Lula with 21.8%, a reflection of the low popularity in the state.

Following are candidates Ronaldo Caiado (União Brasil, 5.4%), Ciro Gomes (PDT, 4.9%), Eduardo Leite (PSDB, 1.4%) and Helder Barbalho (MDB, 0.2%). Another 5.9% of voters said they would vote blank or null, while 4.8% did not know or preferred not to answer.

Bolsonaro would also beat Lula in a possible second round, with 61.7% of voting intentions in Rondônia, against 25.9% of Lula. Another 7.1% said they would vote for “white, null or none.”

In other scenarios, Lula’s performance is not favorable either. In a dispute of the first round against Michelle Bolsonaro, he would have 22.3% of voting intentions, while she would reach 45.2%; In front of Tarcísio de Freitas, governor of São Paulo, Lula would total 23.2% of intentions while the opponent would reach 32%.
