New reduction takes the average fuel value to R $ 3.43; The expectation is a drop of $ 0.10 per liter in the pumps
It announced it on Thursday (17.br.2025) a reduction of R $ 0.12 per liter in the price of diesel sold to distributors. The measure comes into force from Friday (18.abr). With the cut, the average sale value will go from $ 3.55 to $ 3.43 per liter.
According to the state -owned company, when considering the mandatory mixture of 86% diesel A and 14% biodiesel for the composition of diesel B, sold at Petrobras in consumer price will be an average of R $ 2.95 per liter. The effective fall should be $ 0.10 per liter.
Since December 2022, Petrobras has a reduction of R $ 1.06 per liter in the price of diesel to distributors, a drop of 23.6%. Fixed by inflation of the period, the real fall is $ 1.59 per liter, or 31.7%.
On Wednesday (16.abr), the minister of, (PSD), had claimed to have “extreme conviction” that there would be “good news” in fuel prices in the coming days. According to him, the international scenario favors a drop in amounts charged in the bombs.
