The leader of the House, (RJ), prayed and talked with the general about the bill that grants amnesty to the participants of the January 8th. Former Vice of (PL) in 2022, Braga Netto has been arrested since December last year in a military unit in Rio de Janeiro.
Sostenes was the first of 24 parliamentarians who received authorization from Minister Alexandre de Moraes, from the Supreme Court (STF), to visit the general.
“He is in a small room, with bed, open signal, bathroom. He takes an hour of sun a day and makes an hour of exercise, even lost weight. I thought he could be emotionally shaken, but not, it is because he is doing exercise and before, in the PL, I had no time,” he said.
The deputy said that he came to be congratulated by Braga Netto for his performance in the lead and the struggle for amnesty. Sostenes, in turn, said that the final text will be defined by the plenary, which it is not yet possible to say who will be contemplated. But they did not go into more detail.
By the way the bill is today of the bill, Braga Netto, Bolsonaro and other defendants accused of leading coup plot could be amnesty, since the January 8 attacks are part of the coup attempt for which they are tried.
But, as the Sheeta new text is being worked by party technicians, at the request of Bolsonaro. It is not yet clear how this new proposal will be, which will still be taken to the project rapporteur.
Braga Netto was arrested preventively by the Federal Police on charges of trying, a former Bolsonaro’s auxiliary. He denies the accusation.
Sostenes, the general said he did not call Mauro Cid’s father, as the PF claims, but received a call from him.
Braga Netto complained of being arrested for pre -trial detention for 120 days, and said he was waiting for a new opinion from the magistrate. He also denied involvement with attempted coup and plan green and yellow, murder of authorities, such as then -president -elect Lula (PT).
According to the leader, Braga Netto was not thrilled at any time, and prayed a Prayer Our Prayer, at the request of Sostenes, who is also a pastor. “He’s hard on the fall,” he said.
Next Thursday (17), the general should receive a visit from the PL leader in the Senate, Rogério Marinho (RN). Other parliamentarians should also find it.
