Historical items, including a passenger clock, will be offered at an event scheduled for April 26
The item belonged to the passenger Hans Christensen Givard. His body was found in 1912 next to belongings such as a savings account, keys, money in a wallet, a compass and a passport.
In addition to the Givard clock, the auction will feature other items found on Titanic. Among them, a letter and a 1st class Swedish passenger medal Erik Gustaf Lind, a silver certified dollar and a 3rd class passage from Ernest Portage Tomlin.
The auction house is known to have already offered other objects from the ship. A violin used in the 1997 movie about Titanic wreck, estimated at about $ 465,000, will also be offered.
