Straka builds large spherical nests from branches, which can always be found as high as possible above the ground, ie on the highest floors of trees. In some countries they are literally accepted as a gift (for example in China, which traditionally prefers positive expectations), in other cultures mean warning to the family living in the house. Anglo -Saxon nations even have a rhyme, according to which they carry a lot of altogether things and contradictory things like joy, but also sadness, new man, wealth and so on…

But it is certain that these are very empathetic birds who can sense the danger and warn of him loud, or less striking but persistent screams.
