Consortium proposals include the construction and launch of a constellation between 400 and 1,000 satellites, with the aim of detecting missiles and monitoring their trajectory. This part of the system is already being designed by Spacex, which estimates that engineering and design cost can vary between $ 6 and 10 billion.
