Igor Slanina wants to run for the post of CEO of stations. Since its inception, it has been temporarily authorized by the director. TASR informed about it Andrea Pivarčiová, in charge of the management of the Marketing and Communication Section of the TVR.
As Pivarčiová declared, during the period of ten months of Slanin’s mandate, his priority was to stabilize the situation on Slovak television and radio and To ensure all the particulars related to the transition from the extinct RTVS to the new public institution of the STVR, This is, within the possibilities that the mandate of the temporary mandate allowed him. Added that after starting multiple processes is now determined to continue this work.
„This decision was not easy at all, but in the current situation I feel a certain level of responsibility and determination to continue fulfilling my vision. Together with my team we experienced an intensive ten months, during which we had to deal with the demanding process of transformation of public service television and radio. All the steps we managed to take over this time fulfill me with the motivation to continue further work for the QVR. I am convinced that we can continue to build an intensive STR brand and continue the processes started. I take my candidacy for the post of CEO with full seriousness and humility and also as a commitment to the staff and collaborators of the STVR, as well as its viewers and listeners”Said Slanina.
