In the evening edition, Luís Maia, from SIC, reveals that an incident was recorded at the Braga Public Security Police (PSP), which involved Manuel Gonçalves, about fifteen days before the fatal episode at the University of Minho Academic Bar.
The Braga Judicial Police are investigating the 19 -year -old, at the door of the University of Minho Academic Bar, last Saturday dawn. SIC’s Luís Maia reveals that, two weeks earlier, the young man had been assisted by emergency teams following a confrontation in a commercial space in Braga.
“It was beaten, it will have been assaulted too and there were several people involved in this contempt,” he said, adding that after this confusion there were death threats.
It is possible for the authorities to be determined if any of those involved in this confrontation was also involved in the fatal episode of Saturday dawn.
The death of Manuel Gonçalves is still wrapped in mystery. In recent days, the version that the young man would have been attacked for denouncing a group that would be tampering with girls drinks has gained strength. However, neither the Judicial Police nor the PSP officially pronounced on this thesis.
According to Luís Maia, the young people who got involved in the confusion of the academic bar would have more than one white weapon, so Manuel could have been stabbed by more than one person, since in an early stage he was stabbed in the back of his neck and then in the armpit and chest.
The suspect of stabbing is on the run, as is the group of four young people accompanying him.
