The scholarist influencer Oswaldo Eustáquio, who had, figured in a series of investigations into attacks on (Supreme Court) members and undemocratic threats in Brazil.
Considered a fugitive by Brazilian justice, he has been in Spain since 2023, and has told European authorities on other occasions that he has not committed “any crime” and who suffers “political persecution.” Its name was included that year in Interpol’s red diffusion, the international police fugitives channel.
Eustáquio was first arrested in 2020, by determination of the STF minister in the survey of that year.
In 2021 and 2022, new appearances in acts, statements against the Court and Congress, accusations of attempted investigation and corruption of minors resulted in more arrest warrants against the blogger.
He is also involved in the process that culminated in the determination of Moraes to suspend social network X, former Twitter, in Brazil.
The Spanish justice had already denied two extradition requests from Eustáquio made by the Brazilian authorities this year. The decision on Tuesday (15) considered that the request was made for “political motivation” and that the conduct to which he is accused are crimes of “less seriousness”.
The acts in question correspond to two crimes in Brazilian law: violent abolition of the democratic rule of law and attempted coup d’état.
In response, Moraes suspended the extradition of a Bulgarian arrested in Brazil at the request of the government of Spain.
2020 anti -democratic acts
Eustáquio was one of those investigated for national security crimes, opened in April 2020 against the former president’s allies (PL).
According to police, the blogger instigated followers on social networks against the Supreme Court and Congress and “encouraged polarization and antagonism speech by illegal means.”
He was first arrested in June 2020, temporary. In July, with the end of temporary arrest, the STF imposed restrictions on the blogger prohibiting it from using social networks, keeping contacts with other investigated, traveling without permission, participating in demonstrations against institutions and approaching the Praça dos Três Powers, in Brasilia.
With the allegation of non -compliance with restrictions, the arrest became preventive and, later, under home with electronic anklet monitoring.
In July of the following year, he was investigated in a new investigation into what PF described as a criminal organization that uses the internet to attack democratic institutions.
CPI da Covid
Eustáquio was also one of the COVID CPI in the Senate, completed in October 2021, which requested the indictment of those involved in sanitary measures infraction crimes during the pandemic.
According to CPI, the blogger is suspected of having disseminated fake news, negative content, anti-vaccin and in defense of ineffective treatments against Covid-19 in a series of publications on their social networks.
Corruption of minors
In August 2024, which aimed Bolsonaro’s allies. In addition to being suspected of trying to intimidate federal police, Eustáquio was appointed as a suspected corruption of minors for using his daughter’s profile to commit illicit acts, according to investigators.
According to the PF, the profile of the militant’s daughter made a publication about the presence of federal police in her home. Alexandre de Moraes then issued another arrest warrant against Eustáquio, who was already in Spain.

Also in the context of investigations against undemocratic acts, Moraes determined the suspension of some political profiles on social networks.
However, platform X, by billionaire Elon Musk, did not fulfill the decisions, including the blockade of Eustáquio’s teenage daughter and his wife, Sandra Eustáquio.
