Brazil exceeds 1 million dengue cases in 2025

São Paulo leads the ranking of states in absolute number of cases, with 590,850 probable cases. Then come Minas Gerais (111,096), Paraná (80,475) and Goiás (47,473 cases).

The state of São Paulo also maintains the largest incidence coefficient (1,285.2 cases per 100,000 people). Next appear Acre (888.6), Paraná (680.6) and Goiás (645.9).

In relation to other diseases transmitted by the Aedes aegyptiChikungunya has 70,973 probable cases in the country in 2025. There were 60 deaths caused by the disease, and 49 others are being investigated. Chikungunya’s incidence coefficient is 33.4 out of every 100,000 people. Zika accumulates 2,155 probable cases in 2025, with a confirmed death and an incidence coefficient of 1 per 100,000.
