A 30 -year -old woman and her 3 son were rescued from a private jail and domestic violence, practiced by the child’s own companion and father. The action was carried out by military police in the neighborhood of Cabanga, central Recife (PE).
The Military Police received the complaint on the morning of Wednesday (16) and, on the same day, set up a bell near the residence to observe the movement on site. In the next few dawn, the complainant sent new messages to the PM reporting shouts, threats of murder and suicide, as well as intense cries from the mother and the child.
The police headed for the address, where they found the victims in shock. “The woman was in an emotional state shaken and had no discernment of the situation. She had no access to her cell phone,. She never denounced the situation before,” said Viviane Calado, responsible for.
The Maria da Penha Board of the Military Police began to accompany the case. Mother and son were referred to the Women’s Police Station, where the reception procedures began. Currently, both are in a temporary shelter and must be transferred to another state, where they will be received by family members.
The suspect has not yet been located by the Pernambuco Military and Civil Police.
