Their opposition to both the and the policy pursued on the issue of trade duties is expressed by the majority of Greeks, regardless of party preference, in a poll by Metron Analysis. The only exception is the voters of her party, Kyriakos Velopoulos, who positively evaluate the work of the American president.
More specifically, according to survey data, 67% of all respondents judge their president’s work negatively, with 24% positively evaluating it, while 4% said they did not evaluate his term neither positive nor negative.
The element of the poll that is of particular interest is that it has inter -party elements, except for a unique exception. In particular, ND voters are negatively evaluating Trump’s 76%work, SYRIZA at 78%, PASOK at 81%, KKE at 84%and other parties at 54%.
The image between the voters of the Greek solution is diametrically opposed, as only 24% say they have a negative picture, with 65% saying they had a positive and 9% declaring that they do not evaluate Trump’s work neither positive nor negative.
Trump evaluation and political identity
Regarding the evaluation of Trump’s governance in relation to the party identity of voters and there seems to be a consensus, as 86% of leftists, 80% of center -left, 71% of centrals and 60% of center -right are negatively positioned.
Lower are the negative rates of evaluation between self -identified rights, a category in which the overwhelming majority of voters in the Greek solution are included, where again the negative votes are more than positive, with 48% versus 42%.
Duty assessment
Similar is the picture of the impact that citizens consider to have the imposition of US duties on the Greek economy. Specifically, 47% of all respondents replying that they believe that duties will have a great impact on our country’s economy, while 30% responds that the impact will not be so great.
Regarding the assessment of duties in relation to the political identity of voters, the image is again similar to that of the assessment of all Donald Trump’s work: 42% of ND voters, 49% of SYRIZA, 61% of PASOK, 48% of the KKE and 48% of the KKE. Again, the exception is the voters of the Greek solution, where only 30% consider the effect to be great, while 46% believe that the effect will not be particularly serious.
