Urgencies closed all over the country: obstetrics is the most affected service

The next few days will be embarrassed at hospital emergencies. This Friday, the urgent services of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Garcia de Orta hospitals, in Almada, Fernando Fonseca (Amadora-Sintra) and at Santarém Hospital will be closed.

On Saturday, the number of closed emergencies of gynecology and obstetrics rises to eight:

• Garcia de Orta Hospital (Almada);
• Nossa Senhora do Rosário Hospital (Barreiro);
• Hospital Amato Lusitano (Castelo Branco);
• Vila Franca de Xira hospital;
• Baixo Vouga Hospital Center (Aveiro);
• Santo André Hospital (Leiria).

The pediatric emergencies of Beatriz Ângelo, in Loures, and in Vila Franca de Xira will also be closed.

Sunday is the day with the most embarrassment. The closure of Gynecology and Obstetrics emergency in Setúbal and Abrantes and the pediatric urgency in Torres Vedras is foreseen.
