The Minister of Defense, Pitt Hegshe, urged to increase its military spending and, in cooperation with its other members, to take on a leading role in Europe’s defense shielding with conventional weapons, a Pentagon spokesman said.
Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell’s statement was released following the meeting of US Defense Minister Pitt Hegschez with his French counterpart Sebastian Lekorni in Washington.
Parnell said the two ministers also discussed efforts aimed at a “constant peace” in Ukraine, without any further details.
