Five Eleven Capital wants to invest in professional football and the base of the Caxias do Sul club
Youth negotiates the transformation into SAF (Society of Football). The proposal is from the international company Five Eleven Capital, specializing in multiclub projects. The conversations began at the end of 2024 and are still at an early stage. The information was released by Pioneer newspaper on Thursday (17.abr.2025).
There is still no draft contract. The moment is to exchange information and definition of the terms. The company has shown interest in investing in professional football and grassroots categories. The club’s heritage is not part of the negotiations at this stage.
In the debut of Brasileirão, with a 2-0 win over Vitória, a group representative was in Caxias do Sul. He accompanied the match and also watched games from the club’s base categories.
The values involved were not disclosed. Before moving forward, the proposal needs to be approved by the Youth Board of Directors. If approved, it will go to the Deliberative Council, which will give the final word. If rejected, negotiations will be closed.
With almost no debt, youth is seen as a rare opportunity in Brazilian football. 3 years ago, the club hired a consultancy to calculate its market value. The amount is kept confidential.
The board deals with the issue with caution and does not project a short -term decision. Negotiations must continue over 2025.
