Declaration was made after the court suspends auction of land in the Ipiranga hill, in the Bahian capital
The singer spoke out against the auctions of green areas in Salvador (BA). In a video published on social networks this Friday (18.br.2025), she defended environmental preservation: “It is necessary to respect the limits, take care of nature and protect the green areas that still exist in our country”.
The artist, who wore a t -shirt with the word “preserve”stated that “Using the constructive potential of these spaces to build more buildings is not the best choice for the population”.

The statement comes 2 days after the Federal Court suspends the auction of land located in Morro do Ipiranga, in the Bahian capital, after a request from the (Bahia Architecture and Urbanism Council), which pointed to environmental risks in marketing the area.
The decision cites the Municipal Law, proposed by the Mayor (União Brasil), which authorizes the sale of 40 public land as a way to expand the collection of the property tax and finance works in the city.
The text, however, does not mention that the auctioned terrain has an environmental restriction, which, according to the judiciary, creates legal uncertainty.
