Pieces of flowers must be embedded in a gel that will have a jelly or jelly consistency. We use potato flour for fruit jams. In the case of a magnolia preparation, chia seeds are perfect. Other products are characteristic of frużelin.
What ingredients do we need to make a magnolia jam? Here is the list:
- 200 g of magnolia flakes;
- 100 ml of water;
- 3 tablespoons of chia seeds;
- 2 tablespoons of honey;
- 3/4 teaspoon of citric acid.
To make a magnolia filling, at the beginning we need to pour the flakes of this plant into a pot with a thick bottom and pour them with water and add citric acid to them.
In the next step, boil the whole and remove the dish from the heat. Then we add chia seeds and our natural sweetener, i.e. honey and mix everything thoroughly. In order to get a denser jam, we can additionally fool it.
Finally, translate the frużelin into a clean, scald jar and turn off the dish. We store the cooled jam in the fridge for up to 3 days.
