President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) attended, this Saturday (19), to the marriage of his grandson Thiago Trindade Lula da Silva with actress Renata Gasparim, in the city of Sarapuí, in the interior of São Paulo.
This is the first time that the municipality, which has 10,000 inhabitants and has been 150 kilometers from the capital, receives the visit of a President of the Republic. The arrival of Lula, who landed in a Brazilian Air Force (FAB) helicopter in a soccer field, moved some streets, according to popular.
Lula traveled accompanied by the first lady Janja da Silva and was still received in the soccer field by the mayor of the city, Professor Gustavo (PSDB), and his wife, lawyer Bruna Danielli.
The chief executive stayed in the city for about two hours and is already returning to Brasilia.
The event, which takes place this afternoon, is celebrated at the Hotel Imperium Village Sarapuí. The second most voted councilwoman in the region, Andrea Fazan (PSD), is the owner of the space.
