A grandmother with a bunny or lamb is an ideal proposition for people who want to surprise their family this year and make a cake with the “wow” effect. It will certainly bring a smile on many faces, especially in the youngest and disappear as to the last crumb, because it is so tasty. Check a simple recipe for this Easter baking.

To make a bunny or lamb on my grandmother, we need a mold with such a shape. Its size is important. So it’s best to put it in a keszkówka and see if it will be suitable. Thanks to this, we will avoid surprises when the dough is baked.

When we bake the dough, only then we cut the shape of the bunny or lamb. These designs can be made of both light and dark mass – it all depends on the effect that we want to achieve and contrast with the baking shell.

In this recipe, the grandmother is cocoa, while the pattern is made of lemon dough. Nothing prevents you from making a light background and dark Easter animals. Pour baking or traditionally – with icing.

Ingredients for lemon cake:

  • 120 g of soft butter;
  • 160 g of wheat flour;
  • 70 g of powdered sugar;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice;
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder.

Ingredients for cocoa cake:

  • 220 g of soft butter;
  • 170 g of wheat flour;
  • 170 g of potato flour;
  • 120 g cukru;
  • 4 eggs;
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa;
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder.

To make a grandmother with a bunny or lamb, we first prepare a bright lemon cake. For this purpose, grind the butter with powdered sugar until a light and fluffy mass forms. Then add one egg to it and beat briefly to combine the ingredients.

In a separate bowl, combine flour with baking powder and then add these mixed ingredients to the butter mass. Finally, add lemon juice and mix gently.

Pour the bright dough into a cake, previously smeared with butter and sprinkled with flour. We bake them in an oven preheated to 160 degrees Celsius for about an hour, to a dry stick. Cut the cooled baking into slices 1 cm wide. We cut out a bunny or lamb from each of them.

In the next step we make a cocoa cake: grind butter with sugar until a light and fluffy mass forms. Then add 1 yolk to it and beat to combine the ingredients.

In another dish, we combine flour, baking powder and cocoa. Add the dry mass to this butter, mixing the whole with a spatula.

Then beat the proteins to a stiff foam and combine them with the other ingredients. We pour 1/3 of the dark dough into a bike, in which we baked a light mass. Let’s not forget to smear the form with butter and sprinkle with flour.

Then we arrange cut bunnies or lambs in an even row, close to each other. Pour the remaining cocoa mass on top of the patterns. We bake grandmother at 180 degrees Celsius for about an hour, to a dry stick. After cooling, we decorate it with any topping.
