The Civil Police of the State of Acre (PCAC), through the Specialized Police Station for Women’s Assistance (DEAM), fulfilled a pre-trial detention warrant on the afternoon of Thursday (17), in Rio Branco, against GSC, investigated for threatening his former partner and violating legal measures.

According to PCAC, the warrant was issued by the 2nd Women’s Protection Court of the Capital Acrean, after the breach of the electronic monitoring anklet, as it had been imposed on the investigated as a way to ensure the victim’s safety.
According to the investigations, GSC was already being monitored for making serious threats against the former partner, which motivated the adoption of urgent protective measures. With the breach of the anklet, the situation gained greater severity and resulted in the immediate dispatch of the arrest warrant.
After being located and detained, the man was taken to the headquarters of Deam and will then be sent to the Francisco d’Oliveira Conde Prison, where he will remain available to the court.
