Kinshasa – After a ship accident in the Democratic Republic of Congo, more than 140 deaths have been found so far. MP Joséphine-Pacifique Lokumu said on Friday since the accident on the Congo river on Tuesday, rescue workers had recovered 143 corpses, some of them charred, others had drowned. How many people were on board is still unclear. Lokumu said it could have been “hundreds of” passengers on the boat.
