Band reporter Igor Calian almost had his cell phone stolen this Saturday (19.ab.2025), while preparing to get in live Band Journal. The case took place at Avenida Faria Lima, west of São Paulo.
The attempted robbery was noticed by cameraman Gutemberg Gonçalves, who noticed a man’s approach in a bicycle moments before the transmission. The reporter noticed before the criminal could take the device.
After the fright, Calian even confronted the suspect: “I knew you were going to try to get it. I couldn’t, right, bichon?”said the journalist.
