Cracow sheets are pancakes based on a semi -fat cottage cheese, which is preparing very simply. Just combine cheese with eggs, flour, baking powder and salt to create a main course, breakfast or a snack during the day. Fried in clarified butter Cottling boards taste delicious in both sweet and salty version.
If you like desserts, serve them with powdered sugar, decorated with your favorite topping or fruit mousse. Raspberry or cherry jam will also work great. By serving them for dinner, you can, in turn, combine them with a stew or vegetable stew. Nothing prevents you from arranging avocado, salmon, fried bacon or fried egg. Ingredients:
- 250 g of semi -fat curd,
- 2 eggs,
- 3 tablespoons of buckwheat flour,
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder,
- A bit of salt
- clarified butter for frying.
Method of performance:
1) Transfer the cottage cheese to a bowl and crush it with a fork until it is slightly smooth – it does not have to be completely creamy, you can leave small lumps.
2) Add eggs to cottage cheese and mix briefly to combine the ingredients.
3) Pour buckwheat flour, baking powder and a little salt. Mix everything with a spoon or kitchen rod – the mass should be quite thick and compact. Set aside for a few minutes.
4) Heat a pan with a small amount of clarified butter.
5) Apply portions of dough with a wooden or silicone spoon, forming small pies. Fry on medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crunchy.
6) Drain on a paper towel if you want to get rid of excess fat.
