Czech criminalists from the Department of Municipal Crime of the Regional Directorate of the Police of the Karlovy Vary Region have been dealing with a particularly serious murder act since Monday 14. As the police said, there was a violent death in an apartment house near the town of Ostrov in Karlovarska.
At night, a notice from an unknown man was received on the emergency line that there was a dead woman in one of the apartments. The men of the law went to the place shortly after 2 pm and got in force. In the apartment they found the body of 42-year-old Lucie without signs of life. Although the police launched resuscitation, the woman was no longer help. A medical examiner was summoned to the place She stated death after a violent act. An autopsy was ordered.
The police immediately started searching for a suspect and shortly after the announcement they detained a 46-year-old man near the gas station in Ostrava. The man confessed to the police that he had called the emergency line and then threw his phone. In the evening, they accused the man of committing a particularly serious murder. On Wednesday, April 16, the man was taken into custody by a court decision. If he is guilty, he is punishable by a term of imprisonment of 10 to 18 years.
