President arrived in Sarapuí in the presidency helicopter accompanied by Janja; The couple was received by the mayor of the city, Gustavo Barros
The president (PT) traveled to Sarapuí, in the interior of São Paulo, 150 km from the state capital, this Saturday (19.br.2025) to participate in the marriage of his grandson Thiago Trindade Lula da Silva with actress Renata Gasparim.
The petista arrived in the city in a FAB (Brazilian Air Force) helicopter to use the presidency. He landed on a soccer field accompanied by the first lady Janja Lula da Silva. The couple was welcomed by the mayor (PSDB) and his wife, Bruna.

Thiago is the son of Marcos Cláudio Lula da Silva, his son with his 2nd wife, former first lady Marisa Leticia (1950-2017).
The commitment is not contained in the president’s official agenda because it is a personal matter. Secom (Secretariat of Social Communication) nor did it report on the possibility of the trip. Initially, Planalto’s information was that the president would spend the entire Easter holiday in Brasilia.
