Santo André, at ABC Paulista, registers expected rain for the whole month

The city of Santo André, in ABC Paulista, was one of the most affected by the storms that hit the state on Saturday (19). In just a few hours, the municipality has exceeded the expected rainfall for every month.

In São Bernardo do Campo, the Pauliceia neighborhood was flooded.

In Mauá, there was a landslide behind Emei Frajola, located at Av. Presidente Castelo Branco, and in a residence.

In a statement, the Civil Defense reported that heavy rain is still concentrated in the ABC region and in the municipalities of Alto Tietê and has its displacement north coastal and Vale do Paraíba. So far, there is no record of injured, homeless or homeless people.

According to the firefighters, there were at least 68 calls for collapse/collapse throughout the region of Greater ABC.
